ASNA Neurology Fellowship 2026

The ASEAN Neurological Association (ASNA) Neurology Fellowship Programme 2026 supports neurology trainees and early‑career neurologists from ASEAN member countries through structured clinical training at selected neurology centres within the region.

The fellowship typically supports 3-4 months of focused training (up to a maximum of 6 months) in selected subspecialty areas, including stroke, neurocritical care, epilepsy/EEG, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, neurosonology, and cognitive or dementia pathways. Applicants are required to outline clear training objectives and a return‑to‑service implementation plan to contribute to capacity building in their home institutions.

    BNSRC–ISNACC Fellowship in Neurocritical Care (Brunei)

    Brunei Neuroscience Stroke and Rehabilitation Centre (BNSRC), Jerudong Park Medical Centre, offers a one‑year post‑doctoral Fellowship in Neurocritical Care, accredited by the Indian Society of Neuroanaesthesiology and Critical Care (ISNACC).

    The programme provides structured clinical and academic training in the management of critically ill neurological and neurosurgical patients within a dedicated Neurocritical Care Unit. Eligible applicants include post‑graduate trained specialists in Neurology, Anaesthesiology, Critical Care, Internal Medicine, and Neurosurgery.

      Epilepsy Fellowship from Asian Epilepsy Academy

      The Asian Epilepsy Academy (ASEPA) is the educational arm of the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) - Asia Oceania. For the year 2025, ASEPA is offering:


      • Four epilepsy training fellowships of 6-12 months duration; each fellowship provides a USD 10,000 stipend for travelling and other expenses.
      • Three epilepsy surgery fellowships of 4 months duration; each fellowship provides US$4,000 stipend for travelling and other expenses.


      Candidates should be less than 50 years of age from Asian countries, for training at selected epilepsy centres in the Asian & Oceanian region. Applicants should be able to communicate in English. An evaluating committee will assess all applications.

      Applications should include:

      1. Curriculum vitae with evidence to show the commitment to epilepsy.

      2. Proposed training goals, field of study and place of study. Candidates may also request that ASEPA suggests the place of study.

      3. Letter of recommendation from the applicant’s national epilepsy leadership.

      4. The names of two referees.
